WDAV Lanza Concierto
25 de octubre 2010 | DAVIDSON, NC - WDAV Classical Public Radio anunció hoy el lanzamiento de la fase piloto de Concierto, el primer servicio de música clásica disponible a nivel nacional en español e inglés en los Estados Unidos. El programa piloto de dos horas se puede escuchar todos los sábados a las 10pm por WDAV en la región de Charlotte, NC y por KPBS en San Diego, CA. Además NPRMusic.org ha añadido una versión especial de Concierto al corriente popular en la red The Mix. También WDAV ha lanzado corrientes continuas de los programas de Concierto en su canal de HD-2 y al sitio web concierto.org.

WDAV Launches Concierto
October 25, 2010 | DAVIDSON, NC – WDAV Classical Public Radio today announced the launch of the pilot phase of Concierto, the first nationally available Spanish-English classical music service in America. The 2-hour pilot show can be heard every Saturday at 10 PM on WDAV in the Charlotte region and on KPBS in San Diego, CA. NPRMusic.org has agreed to help promote the show and will soon add Concierto to its popular stream, The Mix. In addition, WDAV has launched a continuous stream of Concierto programs on its HD-2 channel and online at concierto.org.

Hispanic classical music stirs the soul
The music of Latin America has been ringing in my ears lately. And I’m not talking about what you hear at parties or pop-music concerts, though much of that material is definitely worth hearing.
