The 2011-2012 season of the Greensboro Symphony was designated “A Season of Winners” and included this concert featuring soloist Ray Chen, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition in Brussels. He plays Bruch’s beloved concerto and throws in a famous Paganini Caprice as an encore. The program also features the ever-popular Moldau by Smetana and a well-known symphony by his fellow Bohemian Dvořák.
